Decked out Blaster or YFZ450R?
#1
Should I spend money buying a YFZ450R or should I spend money decking out my already purchased Yamaha Blaster 05' 250cc (all stock) things like pipe, turbo, Plastic s, Everything to deck out the visuals and deck out the performance.
Which choice is going to give me the better more fun atv, Something thats going to shred the trails and I can just have the most fun with.
oh and also I'm not sure which is cheeper a Tricked out Yamaha Blaster or a YFZ450R?

Don't know your age or size, but a few bucks spent on a Blaster will give you a lot more fun for the money than the thousands more you would spend on a 450. If raw power is what you want, then the 450 is your best bet, but for a light, fun, easy to handle quad, the Blaster is hard to beat. That little 2 stroke can really rip with a pipe and rejetting, and mods are cheap and available from everywhere. The final descision is yours, good luck with whatever you decide.

What is your weight and height? If you are able to fit on the Blaster a few more years, then might be worth it to wait before stepping up to a 450.
On the other hand, the Blaster has minimalist suspension that gets old pretty fast.

Im 5'11" 16 years old, My 30 year old 6'2" uncle also bought a blaster 2 weeks after I did. I like ripping that thing around the trails, besides huge utility atvs ive never ridden a different atv besides my and my uncles blaster. and couldn't I upgrade the suspension? Im talking pretty much over the course of quite a few years I take my blaster and replace a great deal of it with totally upgraded parts.

If you ride the Blaster, I wouldn't dump a ton of money into it. At the end of the day it is still a Blaster and you will not recoup your upgrade $$. If you stay with quads through your college years and beyond you will eventually upgrade. If you have a budget to work with right now, why not look into a used 400, 450, or even big bore?

I felt like I was on a kids quad when I rode a blaster and I'm barely over 6' tall. IMO you should get something bigger like the YFZ.
