figure it this way, on a Splitfire, there are 2 ground electrodes for the spark to jump to from the positive electrode, but there is only one spark per power stroke so the spark is always going to go to the closest one of the two. Its just a gimmick, stick with the NGK.

I tried all the type plugs I could find in my Wolverine--results:
the Autolite and Denso plugs worked best with the NGK almost as good. I was trying to get rid of an intermittant, very slight burble at an idle. My quad came with the Denso plug in it -- I tried Champion first, this started the process because the champion plug s*cked -- much worse. I still haven't found a new Denso plug (old one is my spare), the autolite works great..
