I always thought that the diameter (when the guys say a 35mm carb) of the carb was the inside diameter on the intake side (that goes inside the carb boot). But I guess that's ot it since I measured 28mm on my shee (which is supposed to be stock). Where else could this measurement come from??? I measured the slide diameter, and it doesn't seem to be anyhting realistic.
Just curious...where did they find the 26mm carbs on a shee???

Measure the inside diameter on the engine side, not the airbox side.

I guess my post wasn't clear. That's what I did. I measured on the engine side. I was supposed to find 26mm ...and it's 28mm. I have absolutely no idea why (aftermarket carbs? boring?).
Thanks.

I'm sure it might be a little off. Both my 34mm PE and my 34mm PJ measure about 34.5mm.
