What is a good intake system?

There's really not much to the intake system. A filter and a short tube to the carb. Taking the lid off the air box is another step.

Lots of arguments on who makes the best filter. K&N and Uni are probably the top two.

Getting the carb jetted correctly is the main key, most times if you're just changing out the filter alone you should be fine. But if you get a pipe or full system with a hi flow air filter/lid cover than jetting is very important.

If it's an automatic like a Polaris, matching the clutch to the exhaust is another key.
