Manual clutch conversion
#1
I really want to convert my Wolverine to a manual clutch BUT I want to know if I can keep the primary clutch in place.
Really I just need to know if anyone knows of a good reason why this can't be done, and I would love to hear from anyone who's done it.

I ran into another wolverine rider this weekend.
He had a 2000 wolv. he had put on a manual clutch.
He said that he had to buy a new side case. He he had to remove the centrifical clutch housing. He was really impressed with the manual clutch, He said that he could get the r's up whenever needed, and the weight of the clutch that was removed played a significant part in the quick rpm's. There is a company that you can order this clutch conversion from.. I will try to find it....

In the June 2000 issue of DirtWheels magazine on page 92 shows a Wolverine highly modified for racing. It has had the clutch changed to a manual one. The conversion was done by Four- Stroke Tech "FST" for $75.00!!!! FST also bored and stroked the wolverine to a full 500cc. They did a lot more but its too much to type "Im feeling lazy tonight". I wish I had a number or something to give you but the magazine doesnt list it. If I had a wolverine I dont give hairy rats *** what it cost it would be just like the one in the magazine article. If you give me $1000 I might scan the article and post it so you can read it. LOL
It would be cheaper to call DirtWheels and order the back issue if they still have any left. Hope this helps.
