Default Grab bar protection?

Some might know that, Honda's 400EX hasn't got a replaceable rear grab bar. Well, I have a 400EX and I don't want to do wheelies with anything to cover my grab, so I don't risk damaging it.

Anyone got any ideas on how I should protect it, or what I should cover it with?

I've never known anyone to mess it up- besides a subframes are to be found everywhere.

There are 2 brands that make grab bars for the 400 though- they just sort of bolt on. Unless you have a brand new powdercoat or something i wouldn't worry about it.

Never seen grab bar protection. I have seen the grab bar portion of the sub frame cut off, tabs welded on and replacement grab bars bolted on.
