i got this eton from a friend and im trying to get it started but it wont.

parts replaced:reed valve,manifold, stator,by passed alarm, spark plug

the ignition button does seem to work trying starting from plug but nothing so i have been cross the terminals on the solenoid.

did manage to get it started once or twice but nothing since then.

carb is clean,inline filter.

spark seems to be iffy.... some time it is strong ,sometime it is weak and sometime it only sparks once or twice and then nothing.

please let me know if you need any info

im using a standard solenoid now not the original one it came with.
