Default Polaris Preditor 50 project

Hello all from Parkville Maryland, I recently bought my two granddaughters twin 04 Polaris Preditor 50 quads . One is ready to go no issues the other one is torn down up on a lift and going over the thing to make sure it's safe and all discovered it has no spark , the ignition button doesn't seem to work, so I'm not too sure what to do. I found on EBay a package deal for 100.00 you get a new starter ( which mine is good ) a new stater and new coil pack. I'm wondering if I replace all that if she would kick over? Seems to me that's pretty much all the right parts? Compression is good, getting fuel to the carb, not much left. Any advice would be greatly appreciated .

You have to pull the brake lever to allow the starter to engage. Might be something as simple as the brake switch which incorporates the starter lock out. If the plastic plunger is damaged or stuck,it wont allow power to the starter relay located under the seat.Item#21.Dirt Cheap Yamaha, Polaris, Suzuki & Kawasaki OEM Parts & Accessories – Cycle Parts Warehouse
