<< Using N02 boosts the oxygen while cooling the charge\cylinder. >>

I agree that Nitros is cooler than if you could use straight oxygen in the mix (in the same ratio). But to say nitros added to a system generates less heat is not correct.

Exhaust temps do go up with NOS.

I guess I get tired of discussing this, because I feel I've answered the first question adequately, and sometimes I feel people enjoy nit-picking an answer apart.

I don't feel we're arguing, just discussing points. I'd just rather not spend this much time typing up information that I get paid to disseminate at work.

It's my fault - I don't mind getting into philosophic discussions with customers (on their dime, while I'm being paid) I just get enough of it at work, and when I'm home, i'd rather relax my brain a little more!

Sorry if it sounded like I was stating that the engine would run cooler compared to the same engine without NO2. What I am trying to say is that the nitrogen cools the charge, making it denser, and allows for more fuel to enter the cylinder, the oxygen requirement is increased so they add o2 as well, Thus NO2 is used. The actual operating temperature will be higher. But without the nitrogen, you will simply lean out your motor, causing excessive heat and seizure.

Are we even still talking about the original question? In a way I guess we are,I dont feel that I am nitpicking your answer apart, And I am sorry if you have endured through that before, However, sometimes it is nice to be able to gather more information of what and why a person has their oppinion as it is. If that makes any sense
