has anyone had anyproblems getting their banshee's to idle after converting to a pro-motion twist throttle and idle kit? I put the idle kit on and filed down the bosses like the directions stated but my banshee winds up to like 12,000 rpm's when I fire it up and won't idle. I first started with the idle screw turned in all the way and then went from there, but it's always the same. Revs up to full rpm on start. Any suggestions would be great!!

A couple things could be the problem. 9 out of 10 times most people put the slides in backwards (yes they fit both ways)to stay opened at about half throttle. Double check each slide and make sure the cutout on the slide is towards the back of the card. Make sure the slide pins are located properly on the slide grooves. Is the choke crossover hose (small black hose 2 inches long) connected? Did your boost bottle or balance pipe come out of the intake manifolds? Check these 3 things first and if you still cannot get it call me @810-254-9117.

Good Luck Matt

Boy sorry about the spelling errors. Basically check to make sure the cutout on the slide is to the back of the carb.

Thanks for thought. I will double check later this evening and let you know what I found.. no matter bout the spelling, it's ok for us macomb county folks!!!!!! I am starting to think that it's sucking alot of air from the idle screw as it is looses in the hole. Not a tight fit like I would have expected, but you made a good point... I'll check and re-post when I do. Thanks again
