I didn't know vito made another piston, I thought he only made the powerpiston with the cutout, which I can't use. How much does he charge for the regular piston? If it is more than a weisco forget it it. I have had nothing but good luck with weisco and if vito wants more then I'll stay with what works.

Well, for a blaster Vito only makes 1 piston, its the Superstock piston, yes it has a cut out. The kit is 129.99 and that comes with high compression gaskets, piston, wrist pin bearing, wrist pin, and circlips. For the Banshee Vito has the Power Pistons, no notch on them for 199.99, they come with everything you need for the top end. He also has Superstock Pistons for the Banshee which have the notch in them, this kit is 229.99, also comes with everything you need. Yes, his pistons are more than Wiseco pistons, but his pistons give you 5 hp+ on the dyno. You can go to Mobiledyno.com and see dyno runs of his pistons.

 

+5hp with a blaster cylinder and head. The blaster cylinder has a flaw in the exhaust port timing, which the vito's piston corrects by using a slot cutout for the port. I am not using a blaster cylinder, I am using a liquid cooled, powervalved DT200R top end. The powervalve doesn't have this flaw, so the slot would screw everything up. Besides, I hear weisco makes the pistons for vito, so it is the same thing.

 

Vitos pistons arent Wiseco pistons, correct they are made by Wiseco but they are too Vitos Specs. There is more to a Vitos piston that add the hp than the cut out. Shorter skirt, larger port window etc...

 

That's what I mean't, Vito has weisco make the pistons to his specs.
