last night my bro snapped the front end of my frame, where the shock mounts are located. it snapped on both sides of the mounts and the piece inbetween both sides was bent up in the process. will the 87 style a-arms bolt right up to the 86 frame, or are the mounts difrent. i know the shocks on the 87 are like a quarter inch wider so when i make upper mounts i'll have that in mind and when i order new a-arms i'll just get 87 sytle shocks and arms. i want to have an 86 with the 87 style front end so that maybe i could get a set of lonestar arms. my dads a pretty good welder so if this can be done we'll make a new part on the frame and weld it. can it be done??? thanks
