Not that it matters, but it was me who posted the cylinder for sale. I was able to have it ported and here is a link to the finnished product...

The bike was dyno'd at Ohton Racing here in PHX (www.ohtonracing.com). Out of 8 runs it made 55.69RWHP three times, and the lowest of the other 5 runs was 51.29RWHP with top speeds consistantly over 80MPH.

WAS selling. I was sending the jug up to HPD to be ported and there was some concern that because it had bee previously ported by another builder they might not be able to get it to their specs. So I had thought about selling it and starting with a new one, however HPD was able to work it out.

I tried locating another used cylinder and have not had any luck yet. I called a local Polaris dealer last night and was told $432. Do you know of someplace to get one cheaper?

I got a head off eBay for $6. I probably should use a billet head with the girdle, but I'll put everything together and running before having porting done so a stock head should be fine. I picked up a spare bottom end to do this to so I can just swap the motor in.

LiveWire: I did have a lead on a used on but he has since taken that cylinder to Ohthon Racing to see what they can do with it. I know of a dealer in UT who may be able to help, I'll track down their e-mail.

In the meantime try RCR @ www.rittercycle.com Rick is very knowedgable guy and may some info for you.

true true ill have to amit that would be cool but by the time u do all that shop work you might as well get the ct raceing topend which uses rubber o ring's and has 100% over stock 250r larger water jacket's specking of a 400 kit you'll need a stroker crank for that kinda stuff if you don't have that on not only will it have a polaris head it'll last about as long as one too

You don't need a stroker crank, and it is cheaper that the CT KIT.
