The sprocket HUB has alittle back& forth movement on splines, the hub is made of aluminum& the axle of coarse is hardened steel. This good get worse as time & miles go on.Is there a steel hub available for this axle ???Is this normal ...the movement is only slight movement.any help appreciated

You are out of luck. I have been reading lately about the x-33's as I THOUGHT I wanted one, but it turns out that it is a common problem for the pin drive to wear a slightly larger hole, causing the wobble you are talking about. It only gets worse from what I read.

rhino....... not talking about the pin drive on wheel hub,..."SPROCKET HUB" has movement..
like spline on sprocket-hub(aluminum) is wearing cause it is softer than axle .....everything else w/axle is OK ...is there a steel hub"sprocket hub" available for this axle ??
ps...where have you been reading about the x-33's??

Ok, well the sprocket hub is way different then probably. Do you have your lock nut tightened down real well? On my R, with the durablue Heavy Duty axle, the sprocket hub will wobble when my axle nut loosens up a little bit, make sure that is tight and it shouldnt wobble, if it does, then you should call durablue.

As far as reading about the X-33, I did a search on this site, and read the topics that it was talked about, I also did a search on Yahoo and found a couple reviews on different sites. I think that it was on this forum that a few people talked about the pins wearing the hole larger and making it wobble a little bit. These may have been fairly rare incidents though.

DS650Dave,
Be careful with the X-33. I broke one off in about 45 minutes after I installed it. My friend almost landed on the wheel/broken axle part. He was right behind me in a real MX race. It was kind of scary.

Just be careful.

Yeah, i saw a guy snap a brand new X33 (or eliminator, i think X33) at a local mx race a few weeks ago. He had just put it on, and it snapped like a twig. I dont think the sproket hubs are replacable. I know they are pressed on the to LSR's like mine.
