Yamaha 250cc Kart Engine

Does anybody know if the Yamaha 250cc Kart engine is Counterbalanced or not, If it is I just might have a project quad in the making, any reply would be greatly appreciated.

Im pretty sure they use a mx 250cc 2 stroke motor and that would be un counter balanced
