Bad Report - Magic Racing

mhimanek,
If the tires are at you store, then I was wrong about it being Skat-Trak's fault. I stand corrected. As Zoo said, a good judge of a company is how they deal with a problem. I'll stop by to pick up the tires and this thread be a credit to you.

No B.S.
I have been honest in this matter all the way.
Like I said before I have been with this company since day one and have thousands of very satisfied customers, why wouldn't I want to get your tires?
The pricing I gave you was correct and that wouldn't be a reason for not getting your tires.
I have said my part, end of story.

I am new to this forum, however I am not new to Magic Racing. I have been a mail-order/retail customer of theirs since 1990 when I purchased my first 4 wheeler which was a Banshee. I use to live 10 minutes from the store and would shop there all the time. I have had nothing but perfect service from them on every occasion since my first dealings with them. Matt and Mike run the store and Matt is by far the most knowledgeable person there. I think he can answer almost any questions people have and seems to genuinely care about the customers. Mike is also good and knowledgeable he smiles a lot and is very friendly. I just do not believe he would intentionally screw you. It just does not fit the atmosphere they have there. The only person I could see anyone having problems with at Magic is a sales person named Ron. He is the not so friendly one and can really be rude at times, but I just talk to someone else. I have moved to Ohio now and have my parts shipped to me. I usually get my parts in 1 day 99% of the time. Mike responding to your problem should show a little character as he did admit some fault and seemed to care about the loss of business.

What reason would Larry have to lie to me? He did not say 'sorry, I can't give you that information.' He said there had not been any 12 paddles Edges ordered since August.
Do I not have the right to be upset at still not getting what I ordered after 12 weeks?
There is a certain level of circumstances that are believable. I gave you the benefit of the doubt for 12 weeks, then you surpassed my threshold of belief. You now expect me to believe that a set of tires that have so little demand that no one in the country carries them sold within 3 days.
Let's for a moment assume that all this has been a series of separate problems uncontrolled by you:
Based on the timing you gave to me when the Haulers came in, they were sitting at your store when I called the very first time to check status. I was told by whoever answered the phone that Skat-Trak was called and it would be a couple more weeks. Why weren't the correct tires ordered when the Haulers came in? Why was I lied to about Skat-Trak being called when obviously they were not?
At five weeks out (you originally told me 3 weeks not 4, I called at 3 and then 2 weeks later), you looked into why the tires had not arrived only after I called Skat-Trak and found out that they had never been ordered. You said the correct tires were ordered and would take 4 weeks from then. At 9 weeks, the correct tires should have arrived. You have a customer who has now waited 9 weeks and you do look into why the tires have not arrived. I call at 12 weeks and you say 'Oh, yeah. They have not come in, I'll have to look into that.'

I would never bad mouth a company that personally did me no wrong, and it sounds like "Magic Racing" has a lot of followers and loyal customers, but in this case I would have to side with LiveWire. It sounds like a customer (LiveWire) fell through the cracks on this one, and was just never giving a hand up.
I'm not sure if I would be a happy camper after 12 weeks of waiting, and then the selling of the said paddles after all that wait in just three days of being on the shelf. Ok, not impossible, but kinda hard to swallow.
I guess the saying "the customer is always right" is the old way of thinking.
