Eventually you will, but then again so will every other quad owner EVENTUALLY. It's like everything else, if you take care of your ride, it should last many riding seasons. The one draw back to the Banshee is that it has two of everything, so you end up paying more when it comes to rebuilding than if you had a single cylinder rig.
As far as down sides to the Banshee, you will find that opinions vary, for those of you who own Banshees you will stick to your guns (rightfully so) and say it is the best thing since sliced bread, then there will be others who will tell you that they wouldn't own one. I say "whatever makes YOU happy" and enjoy.

I bought a new banshee last year, it was super fast right out of the box, ds 650's only beat me by 3 lenghts. The engines are bullet proof, the chassis is a little weak, the worst is the swing arm, next is the axle and third is the a arms. I put on a honda style swing arm lonestar axle , a arms, and works front shocks.. SWEET setup, $$$pricey though, for motor mods I swear by duncan/v force/cool heads/ and pro flow kits.. oh yeah and get a torrs eliminator. I have 12k invested in mine, never thought i would do something like that but all i gotta say is <WANNA RACE
