What does it take to put Banshee A arms or spindles on a Blaster?
#2
the a arms will not bolt right up, neither will the spindles. I have warrior front brakes on my blaster, which are basically the same as a bashee's. There used to be a place that made a bolt on kit, but I think they went out of business.
I bought my parts off ebay, so I only spent maybe $125 on the whole thing, including about 15 hours or so of work spanning a weekend. The hubs will go right on, however, you need to make a small spacer of sorts because the seal on the shee hub does not touch the part of the spindle it normally would. I made my spacers out of a steel pipe on a metal lathe. Took me maybe 2 hours each to get the tolerances perfect. Then you need some 1/4" or so mild steel, a welder, chop saw, grinders, and just about anything else you would normally use for fabrication. I may be able to get some pics of my spindels with the brackets on them if you want.

Holyman:
While hanging out at K&K atv one day I overheard them telling a customer on the phone to contact East Coast atv in PA.. I believe they sell a kit with parts from a banshee to convert a blaster to hydro brakes. I dont know if its a full kit or just the major parts you need...
good luck

Thanks for the tips. I'm sure I can get the parts machined but pics are always best to "see" what needs to be done. I'd be happy to keep the blaster A arms but wondered if the spindles had the same taper as the blaster. Do you guys know if the rear axle will work too? I've heard that it will fit in the blaster carrier with little or no mods.
