Arens frames........
#1
I'm looking to build a project quad....... now I have 2 options as far as powerplants go.... I'm gonna go either with a yz400 motor or a banshee motor.
I also have 2 ways I'm thinking of going with the frame. Ones way or the other it's gonna be a 250r style frame.
But I dunno if I want to stay with the stock geometry or go with a narrow front end that requires more money and all........
Thing is I dunno if it's worth it to spend the extra grand or 2 for a narrow style frame or if I'm better off staying with 'stock' width frames.....
Anybody with an aftermarket frame out there ?????
And I also heard arens frames are just ar good as leager and roll desing but cost a lot less...... Anybody knows about them ????
thanks

roll design is the best (also most expensive) $8500 frame, and shocks, swingarm, a-arms , steering shaft and special front hubs. nice bike through. never riden a narrow front end bike, i heard they are a little more tippy than the stock front ends but they also have more suspension travel. that's all i know. fellow racer airtime

yes compared to a stock width frame. this from a top ten ranked pro quad racer. (not me) but remember, this is comparing a top of the line quads, 20,ooo machines. the narrow front end my be a little more tippy in the corners to a pro, but compared to a stock quad, it was handle 10 times as good and not feel tippy at all. fellow racer airtime

i think your right eric, laeger is the only one that i know of to have a narrow front end (t-pin). nice set up, kind of expensive. i believe the front end (a-arms and special t-pin spondles are around $2500). i don't think you would go wrong with the arens frame. airtime
