ok i looked through all the forums here and didnt find a classified

anyway, i'm looking for a CR500 thats been converted to a 3wheeler..
i am NOT looking for the atc 250r frame with a cr500 engine.

if someone can point me in the right direction i'd be much appriciative.
i'm actually looking for one for my dad, he has a 100+hp CR500 on NOS motor he wants to put in the CR500 3wheeler conversion.

some of you may call BS on me for the HP claims.. i'm not going to debate the #s with you. if any of you know who Pat Watson is, it was built by him. he had a gsr1100 engine in a custom built chasis with Suzuki LT500 plastic. all black. he has run 3.8 in the 100 yards. he took the engine out of the bike and put it in a 1/4 mile drag bike.. thing ran over 200mhp smoking the tire the whole way. this guy knows how to build fast bikes.. both 2strokes and 4strokes.
i saw the cr500 motor in a lonestar outlaw honda 4wheeler frame beat just about everything out there including KnT's banshees and Dennis Packard's bikes.

anyway, if someone knows of a cr500 3wheeler conversion for sale running or not, email me at rwkruger28@hotmail.com
you can see some fast sand drag quads at my website http://kos.realns.com

I don't know of anyone that has one for sale. If you want to find out more about the project go to www.3wheeler.org. Check out the forums. There are a couple guys that are putting 500 motors in their trikes. They might steer you in the right direction.

Theres a guy from chat, named CR500-threewheeler. He did just what you are talking. He used the front end from an ATC (Fork assy and what not), he , BUT he used the existing CR500 frame (no vibrations) I'm not sure what he runs for fuel, I'm pretty sure its Alky though. There is a company that sells swingarms for the CR500 frame, that are built for 2 wheels, with a longer axle. I believe it uses the CR500 rear shock and linkage also. The company is a name I cannot remember. Next time I talk to him, I'll get his webpage address, along with some companies that he worked with.

EDIT:
Okay, I just talked to the him, His page is: http://www.angelfire.com/realm/dunes/webpage.
He says to email him, marcaz@excite.com or onecr500@aol.com (Try the excite one first he says)
Says he'd be glad to answear questions. He's a great guy, and his bike is VERY bad.

I thought the big problem with vibration in an ATV had to do with the added rotating mass of the rear axle and wheels. I don't see where using the CR500 frame would reduce vibration.

its not just about dampening the vibration, its also about the strength of the cr500 frame.. the CR500 frame is alot stronger than the atc 250r frame. i have a friend with a atc 250r frame he tried to put a cr500 motor in, and it kept cracking the frame, he's a machinist and a welder and is good at making things, but some things just arent strong enuf unless you custom make it or use what the motor came out of.

it does help reduce vibration, but you'll never completely get rid of it.
even counterbalanced motors have a little vibration. such is life.

edit:
that excite email address didnt work. i'm sending to the aol. tell him to check it, thanks.
does he go into the atving channel of irc to chat?
