I was wondering if anyone had experience with this. I got a good deal on a carb from a 89 Quadzilla and thought I would give it a shot. (I havnt done anything with it yet) I know it has been done, but is it only a good idea on highly modified engines, or can a mildly modified engine handle it? Also, does it give a noticeable power increse.
Here are my specs
1986 Suzuki LT250
FMF Pipe
Wiseco Piston (.020 over)
Boyeson reeds
K&N air filter with air box removed.
Answer Roost boost
I would appreciate any advice
Thanks

well the only problem is you are using an 86 LT 250, the 87+ LT 250's could get away with it..
the older 86 motor never really performed as well as the 87+ due to intake and port design.
i've see totally ported/polished 86 motors with pipe, k/n filter.. and alot of other mods that got beat by lightly modded 87+ LT250's
in MY opinion, it wouldnt really be worth the trouble of putting it on. you arent going to get much improvement. and it might actually hurt throttle response.
