addict can you get some more pics up? ive been looking at the same ones for quite some time. so anxious to see it done. what colours are you goin with on plastics? great job man!!!!!
it seems as though the mojave popularity has piked up in the last little while. i know when i joined the forums the topic of a mojave was rarely found daily in the kawi topic and the performance catagory. now it seems to be pikking up. lol we should get the mojave cult going again!

hang tight. new pics will be there in about a week or two. It has green plastic including green smoothie hood and a black team green gripper seat cover with the kawi logo on the sides. It is finished now except for the frt bumper and a few small adjustments here and there. Just started it for the first time friday. it sounds real good and feels like it will be strong. The 37mm FCR carb is crisp. I need to get it broken in and jetted just right so I can really see what I have though.

Racerman89, I dont have any drawn plans for the stuff I made. What I do is measure and note untill I get what will work and then make a jig. I usely make a jig to the stock part that can be changed to get what is needed for the final jig. making swing arms and a arms right is not as simple as just making them longer. The extra travel that comes from the additional length must be delt with so that most of it is in the droop and not the jounce. This has to be done with shock mount location while keeping a good motion ratio. all this has to be set up to a particular shock or a shock has to made to fit the final product. I used 250r frt shocks on the #6 with a roll design 250r no link rear shock. But the super Mo got 19 inch long frts with a 17.5 inch rear. The most important part is the compressed length though and not the extended length because it is the compressed length that you have to use to set the mounts on the arms correctly. My stuff fits my modded frames with the shocks I choose and nothing else, so my plans or deminsions would not work on a stock frame.

ID love to drop 1 of them 330 kits into my klr 250.Right now my buddy gave me his klr 650 rat bike,I'm gonna take the engine from that an get a roller from maybe a honda 250 R frame or eqiuvalent, port an polish the motor, make some duals for it an build a 1 off custom quad when I get more jing up for it.Then it will be my SUper Mojave an the quad kawasaki shoulda built from the start, the V hoss might be fast but its heavy an pfffttttt automatic an no clutch that aint hi performance.

Thanks, I made the bumper using just the frt section of an ac racing bumper. I did not change the nerfs. There are two diiferent mojave projects on there and they have different nerfs. The super project always had the modded z 400 ac propegs.

I didn't realize that was two quads. I got your PM. So you think i could make a bumper for a ex400 work. I already hacked the front of my quad tonight.I can make just about any bracket. I am mainly looking for a bumper that has fairly straight arms back to the frame instead of bends. Now that I am commited I have to figure it out. Also the quad tha has the DG nerf bars on it,I am having a hard time identifiyng in the pictures where you welded the rear post for the bar to slide on. I am at that stage right now and scratching my head on where to put it. Thanks for your help I appreciate it.

be carefull about making brackets straight out on the bumper. It has to be higher than it looks like it should to keep it out of the dirt on frt end low landings. The bottom of the bumper should be about 13 inches from the ground at ride height. I welded the back nerf mount tubes to the foot pegs on the #6 by making a bracket to come up from the slanted top surface of the bottom part of the peg. You can see it best in the first pic album in the 13th pic from the end.
