super mojave project
#1
I posted in the kawi forum but thought some of you non kawi folks that dont go there might like to see a project my son and I are doing. we both have and love mojaves but the aftermarket does not offer swingarms and a arms and stuff for them. so we made +3+1 a arms, a +2.75 swingarm, an antivibe steer stem and some other stuff out of 4130 chromoly. the engine has some good mods but once we get it finished and handling right we will build a 330 or 411 for it. check it out and see what you think at

Hi mojaveaddict i am looking at getting a mojave and i know that a stock mojave is not good enough for me.(don't want to make myself look good or anyting but it just aint) but i was wondering if mabye i could have u make me some a-arms and a swing arm just like your but the swing arm like 3-4 inch. though. let me know if u would be up to it and then give me a price and then we can go from there. thanks and god bless.

I would love to make some some for you but I do not have any time right now to do it. I work, have a house and family to keep, go to school, and try to keep my mojaves racing. There is no time left. Call Greg at CWR 717-637-1907. He has swing and a arms for the mojave.

I really dont know but I saved a lot of money by doing it all myself. for example, it cost me about 70 bucks and a lot of my labor to make a chromoly swing arm, compare that to aftermarket prices. About 200 to build a arms because of buying all the heim joints and stuff. I still got what seems like a ton of money to me in those two quads. I put about 2000 into the motor on the super mo, and that is building it myself. I did use CWR for the 330 kit machine work and porting though.

Hey thanks for the the info mojaveaddict. I was also wondering if maybe i could get the plans from u on the same a-arms and swingarm, be cause my uncle owns his own welding busniss and i talked to them and they said that they could make them if i had plans. If u could i would like the plans for the same a-arms on your green and blue mojave, and for the swing arm i would like it to be like around 3-4 inch.(longer than stock) thanks alot. i would really apprecaite it if u had some plans one them.(just need like demensions and things like that. also what spindals work the best and what tie rods.) O and what shocks did u use after the a-arm ext. cause i don't think stock will fit. Lurch used 250R shocks would they work or did they only work on his cause he has 6+1 a-arms? thanks
