boyesen rad valves or stock??
#1
will I lose any top end with the boyesen rad valves on my 99 banshee?? i am going to run 310 mains with the airbox lid off. i also am running toomey t-5s. the stock rad valves have a bigger opening than the boyesen rad valves. does that take away from the top end??

The stock cages make more rpm's than any aftermarket cage. I have spoken with nearly every engine builder in the country and I get pretty much the same answer. The boyeseens will add throttle response, but limit some top end rpm. On topside motors like mine, they all used the stock cages, but some would add teh boyeseen reeds to them. The V-force reeds really have my attention, but none of the top builders have tried them yet. In theory their design should work as advertised, but real world testing still needs to be done. Will you notice any difference on top end if you run the boyeseens? Probably not, but I dont think it is neccesary to spend all that money.

dirt wheels just pubished test on v-force cages. i would also like to see some tests for 250r's and test comparisons between manufactures like 4 wheel action did with banshee woods pipes. but mags probably affaid to lose ad money. instead hide facts from public!!!!!!!!
