I have a 96 Warrior in the past few weeks it has been running inconsistently. Starting has become more irregular. This past weekend, it worked for except when getting wet then failed to start. Pop starting worked most of the time, however it would shut off every now and then without notice. Then without another pop start the engine would not start on its own. We at first thought that it was a gas problem, we cleaned the pet **** which was dirty the engine started and run until running thru a small amount of water, then it would not start. Is there a place on a Warrior more prone to water entry and recommended water proofing? If anyone has any ideas or suggestions it would be appreciated.

My 97 just did the same thing; dealer had to change stator; check the plug to see if it's firing

 

you might want to look at youre harness too it fits the mo kinda
