What are some of the tricks of the trade to quiet down a piped 2 stroke?

Okay, a few questions -- what bike, what pipe, what spark arrestor?

If it's the noice from the aftermarket pipe you are talking about. Get a pipe wrap. I did that to my FMF pipe on my Blaster, and it's *almost* as quiet as stock. Does not look too crash hot, but it opens up a lot more riding areas.
