T-rex kit for banshee
#4
What about the depth of the o-ring groove? Make sure the o-ring has "compresion" when you tighten it down. Also I would put some greese on the o-ring and set it on the cylinder to check alignment with water jackets.

I have the T-rex kit for my banshee. around the head studs where the copper washers seat to the head leakes a verry small amount. After about 5 or six hours of riding there is antifreeze around the studs. I have been looking for some one that has the kit to see how it runs. Mine has the 10mm stroked crank and 115mm long rods all of the porting was done by Racers edge. When I first put the motor together I figured this thing was going to be a rocket ship. But the thing is a TURD!!!!!! I called Racers Edge the company I bought it from after I got my new dirtwheels and saw there add for the same exact setup that I have making 140hp. I have CPI in frame drag pipes and 38mm HV Lectrons and am running VP C-12 and the thing is running 8.4 seconds at 78mph in the 1/8 mile (absolutely pathetic). Trinity has there add in dirt wheels for there standard cylinder 500 banshee and it is doing 6.7 seconds at 98mph. Well sorry for getting off of the subject but have been a long time reader of the forums and this topic made me create an acount just to talk to some one else that had the cylinders.

well I dont konw If I would say that It was junk But for strait drag racing my setup was advertised to go twice as fast as it does right now. The one good thing about them (the 500powervalve kit)Is that they have more bottem end than any four stroke ever thought about making and the topend is.......... Well I am getting out run by drag ported 350 banshees on pump gas in the 1/8. If you turn your cylinders over and compare the transfer area for the t-rex to the stock banshee cylinders you will see that the big sleeve on the T-rex takes up much needed Flow space. Any how I was wondering how yours was running Keep in touch and If you need any thing just let me know.
