I own a Yamaha Warrior and was wondering if anyone nows what the valve clearence specs are. I've ordered a service manual but I would like to adjust it before this upcoming weekend. Any info would be a big help thanks.

With the engine at TDC on the compression stroke , the settings are .004 inch on intake and
.006 inch on the exhaust.

sparkys,
My Warrior shop manual gives the following specs:
intake:.00236- .00394

exhaust: .00630-.00787

above specs based on a cold engine, of course.
I have them in metric also. If youneed them, e-mail me.

I was rounding the numbers off to not confuse him. I've never seen a set of feeler gauges with a .00630 gauge or even a .00394 gauge. But I guess you must have a set.By the way if you set the intake any tighter than .004 it will backfire through the carb when cold. By the way, next time you gap your spark plug , set it to
.0288317654873165497316973103777082 or just round it off to .030 like the rest of us.
