Ive got a 97 Honda Elite 50 moped. its an air cooled, oil injected 2 stroke. i can only get it to hit about 27 mph, but i have heard they will do 45-50 no prob. Stock that is. Anyone know where a governor might be, how to take it off, or any other ideas on how to make it go faster? Im sick of being passed in school zones!!!

sometimes they put a restictor between the jug and the exhaust pipe, and sometimes they use a throttle block on the carb.
and sometimes you gotta add some washers to the cvt sytem to get a higher top speed.

does it really matter if it is an atv site? that stuff makes me mad. i dont have a quad, i have an old dirtbike, and i ask questions, and i get nice answers back. thanks to those who are nice. if someone needs to know something, then help them, dont complain. its only a website.
