out of these engines what will be the most powerful,best fitting,fast.

There are to many variables.

1- what type of chassis
2- what brand
3- what type of riding
4- how much do you want to spend

Need more specific info. Are you going to race it, like drag racing or GNCC or motocross?

Is this for a dune machine or just a every day trail machine

 

I am planning on puttin it in a mojave and using it for climbing,i am willing to spend $500 for one of these motors

 

i am also looking to replace my mojave engine but i want to do GNCC racing

 

put a crf 450 if u wanna race gncc

 

Ive asked other people this and they said the crf450 or the yz490 witch one do you think is better and how would i get either of these engines. Thanks.

 

I give $75 for a complete basket case YZ 465 with a ported 490 top end. The 465 has a 5-speed and the 490 has a 4-speed. If you are wanting the water cooled version, plan on spending a lot more.

 

I was just at a race in the tacoma dome and a dude was moppin' them up with a Mojave w/ a Z400 engine. That looked killer and hauled track.

 

I wouldnt use a crf450 or a yz426 motor for the GNCC's. There not good motors for tight woods racing.
