the engine would start dying when giving it gas so i messed with the carb screws, me not being much of a mech, and got it running good but the top end is gone. when i ride it now it doesnt get up to top speed anymore just when my son is on it. any suggestion would be great or the actual setings of what the screws should be. thanx

 

you have an idel screw which adjusts the idle, and a mixture screw which should be about 1 & 1/2 turns out.
Lets start here, what does your spark plug look like and when was the last time you changed it?

its only about 6months old. what has seemed to work is adj on the mix screw. i spent all day sunday and i seem to have it. thanks for the reply. i looked at the plug and it was full of gas now its good.
