My dad and I are going to put a 300EX engine in a golfcart chassis. I believe the extra power will help out on the trails.

golf carts are two stroke motors with the same setup as honda oddessys and pilots and snowmobiles. How are you going to shift gears??? You should put a 600 or 700 snowmobile motor in the cart

I had a snow mobile powered golfcart. It was really cool, had 18" turf tamers and taller rear gearing so it did about 45mph. I got a little over confident and started jumping it and I made it a lowrider in the middle to say the least I broke the frame. I sold it to some nutty 13 year old kid who was going to fix it and drag race it in the atv class. The moral of this story is it will still be a golf cart with leaf spring suspension and its not a quad.

The club car golf cart uses a 4 stroke Kawisaki engine. And for shifting gears it easy. I will simply cut the stock shifter in two. Extend it, and stick it up through the floor
