Best Carbs For Tuned Banshee?
#1
I am waiting for my motor to return from the work shop were it has been ported /polished and head reworked ( Squish etc). I have a set of FMF fattys, and have sorted the air box,I could do with some advise on a good set of carbs, some one sudgested to stay a way from 35mm and go for a set of 30mm and then some one told me these are a pain in the **** to set up...Can some one point me in the rite direction please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It depends on the type of riding. High speed top end riding, would best be suited to the 35 air strykers. If you are mostly a trail and all around rider I would go for the 30pwk's. They are no harder to set up than any other carb. Call LRD for the 30's.

No matter what you do, stay away from the 2 into 1 kits.
I have tried both the Trinity and Graydon with zero success. They are impossible to get jetted correctly and use way too much fuel (figure that out?).
I am going with the Strykers as we speak. I am just waiting for them to come in.

blobby,
Call Jeff Tudor At Tudors performance( tudors performance.com) or I can get you his number out of my shop, I have a custom made 41mm keihin carb which I couldn't get jetted, after one ride on my bike at dumont dunes he told me what to do and it worked great. After I got home I shipped him my carb and he added a power jet which really kicks in the top end.
