Muffler Re-packing

I have an FMF Powercore IV exhaust for my 300EX and was wondering what to use to re-pack it? I think that the packing material is fiberglass so would fiberglass cloth work? What about fiberglass insulation? I know that I can order some FMF re-packing but figured if either of these would work I can save some cash. Thanks
