Could someone please tell me how much a brake caliper for a 250R cost and how difficult they are to put on.

brand new they are about $300 and som change look around for a used one. Also get the clymer repair book they will tell you how to install and bleed the brakes properly

I can get you a brand new one which includes the caliper, mounting bracket and new pads for $225 plus the shipping to get it to you.
