I recently bought Renthal handle bars and PEP EZ clucth perch for my 99 Banshee, and I was wondering do most of you guys disable the ignition key and the on/off switch on the handle bar?

On my 300EX I remounted the on/off switch in the same place on my Renthals. The ignition is a different story. On the EX the key switch is mounted on that ugly plastic thing on the stock bars. I tossed my handle bar plastic and mounted my key switch on the plastic gas tank cover right below the bars on the right side. I don't know how the Banshee setup is, but that's how I did mine. hey how does a tether style kill switch work? I'm gonna put new bars on my 300ex and gonna put a pro design kill switch on it since its required for racing. where does it wire in at? and hows does all that work with your ignition? well anyways I'm sure I sound pretty dumb. thanks

 

I was thinking about getting one myself. I just put Renthal bars and PEPS clutch perch and also got rid of the parking brake yesterday, and I did disable the ignition and the run/off switch. So any info as to where to hook up the tether cord would be helpful.
