super mojave project
#1
I posted this in the kawi forum but since it is such a major project I thought i would copy it here.
I have pics up of the very early stages of my new super mojave project. It will be the most modded Mojave ever built. It will have drastically altered frame and suspension with totally different geometry. 12 inches travel in frt and 13 in rear. Use 400ex spindles, hubs, tie rod ends, and brakes up frt. custom nerfs, frt bumper, frame, +7+2 a arms, +3 swing arm, use 19 inch frt shocks and 18.5 rear shock, custom steering system from bearing mount to stem including antivibe, and much much more. I'll talk about the engine stuff later and show some pics of it as it gets built. But for now you can see the first stages of the frt end construction in a new album called "new super mojave project" at
http://www.picturetrail.com/mojaveaddict
Many of the pics have captions that describe what is being done and sometimes why. please read them if you have time.
I thought some of you diehard mojave fans might enjoy seeing what I am doing. I hope you like it so far even though not much looks like it is done. It has been a lot of work just to get to this point.
