Default CR80 motor in Honda atc110

I am planing to put a CR80 motor in a 110.I figure that all i have to do is build a frame to go under the motor, which a 110 does not have, and some reinforcements going from that back to the axle carrier. All this would bolt up to the origional motor mounts(of the 110) without any mods to the 110 frame and would be in two pieces, the under frame and the reiforcements. The reinforcements would go inside the back part of the 110 frame and would bolt up to the back motor mounts. It sounds complicated but the only hard part is making the under frame, and the most expensive part is buying the motor.

Does anybody have any hints or know the price of a CR80 motor, thanks.

Depends on what year your talking about. Older cr80 motors I would say around 2-400 bucks.

yes about 1300 new go to cr engines and they have the price for all cr engines including crf450 question why put that kind of money into a atc 110 i think you are crazy man all the money and time doing this it isn't really worth it go buy a 400ex instead

I don't want a bike for every day driving, i want it to be something that looks slow but just goes fast.

You could do this job mad cheep since you've already got the 110....$200 for an engine would be fine...I'd do it if I had a 110...it would be fairly easy for me to fabricate the new undermount...good idea bro....hope it works out good for you !
