I have the CT H.O. kit and would have NO other...... I haven't had another 4 stroke beat me with the exception of one DECKED Out DS

 

you can get a dmc complete system for 476.00 from rocky mountain atv i have it on my raptor and it sounds awsome and it seemed like it added alot more power than my e series slip on. I also herd alot about 2 new pipes that came out. the Lte true dual system it supposedly adds up to 13 hp and the white brother carbon fiber system also

 

I think the best pipe for a raptor is the Stage III Alba pipe. Even though it is very loud it puts out very much HP. I have heard many good things about the Alba.

 

I have heard that the Curtis sparks is the best for horsepower gains. I have a WB E-Series pipe and I love it. The only bad thing is the allen screws to take the disc out, they tend to strip a lot.

 

Everyone I ride with uses the big gun exhaust. They all really like them. I put on my quad (not a raptor) and love it. Probably 30 big gun exhausts in our group of riders and they sound and perform great

 

I recently got rid of a Banshee and got a Raptor. I'm cheap like everyone else so I looked for the best pipe for the cheapest price(with good performance). First, I checked in an old mag. for the best performing pipe then i checked prices. In the mag. I have a CT came in first and an Alba was second just .4 hp behind. So I went to Alba's website. Alba has a pipe that they call a "factory second" but it was super cheap. It came with the headpipes, mid-pipe, and silencer(ha-ha). So I called them and talked to a guy named Matt. He said its the same as the Alba race pipe but it didnt fit "perfectly". In other words you have to get physical with it to get it on. I also bought a jet kit from them. I figured they had already done all the work on the dyno so why should I argue with them. To get the jetting right they have to know all of your mods.(I also have a pro-flow w/ a K&N). When I tried to put it on I had to wrestle with the head pipes pretty good. After I got them lined up the mid-pipe and silencer(ha-ha) went on with no fuss. When I started it up I couldnt believe how loud it was when you gave it same gas. I called Matt and he said they had a spark arrester($40) that goes with it that quites it down pretty good but costs some power. I live in Tennessee and dont have any noise pollution issues so I said forget it. A frien of mine has a Quadzilla that used to eat my Bansee up. So of course he wanted to race and he couldnt do anything with me. I dont know exact HP numbers but I do know that between a stock Raptor, a modded quadzilla, and my modded raptor. My raptor came out on top. Oh yeah, the pipe and jet kit was $300.18 shipped to my door. Late

Actually we were side by side he couldnt pull me and I couldnt pull him, all the way through 5th. We raced about 10 times swapped bikes and raced again. It was always the same. Weve both been riding for about 10 years so I dont think its a bad rider or anything. We couldnt believe it either but it is the truth. My mods 02 raptor- complete exhaust, jet kit, and pro flow with K&N. 'Zillas mods- new top end, pipe and drop in filter.
