Can someone help me on choosing a pipe for my Raptor. I have the jet kit, k&n filter and I need to buy a pipe now, and where?. Do i get a full or a slip on, I dont have alot of meny to spend, but who out there has a pipe and loves it and who hates theres and what should I stay away from. I have heard the DMC Alien pipe is the way to go. But at $600.00 its spendy, should i go slip-on... hopefully youll be able to help. thanks

 

I have heard good stuff about DMC, but my friend is got the CT and is outstanding. I also am looking for a pipe for a good price. I can't just go off of what my friend gots.

 

What is the CT pipe?
I am also looking at the white brothers slip-on, its cheap and adds good power, what do you think

 

CT RACING exhuast pipe. Dirt wheels ran a pipe shootout for raptor and CT came up on top. I don't anybody with a white bros exhaust around here so i wouldn't know.

 

hey guys i'm new around here and i'm also looking for a pipe for my 01 rap. there are a few raptors running around here with white brothers pipes and they love them. I'm almost ready to go with that but i still would like to hear opinions from others. how about alba. I would also like to know if there is a reason everyone talks about the e-series and not the r-4?

 

I am also looking for a pipe..........my friends are quicker to let go of money........ok ok ok......I'm tight as he!!

cam has the alien........tons of power and sounds aight!
matt has the alba......loud as $h!t......but not much power
dale has the hmf slip-on......sounds kewl as he!!.....real nice bark.......tons of power and much cheaper than the full systems!

I will probably order one of those shortly.........I really like the hmf!......

 

Try a Yoshi pipe..they are a lil costy but i love mine. The performance is great and the sound is awesome!!

 

be mindful of how noisy they are too!
i have friend in Cali had to sell his Alien sys cuz it was too loud. the Yosh is right there too.
mine is an FMF pc4sa slip on and it passes. am really hoping the pipe makers are working on quieter pipes cuz this is gonna be the next rage of the environazis...that is, when they get done harassing the snowmobilers! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-frown.gif[/img]

have ben told by the pros that you dont need a headpipe unless you go into the engine - a slip on opoens it enuf, so thats what i did. Son has a full yosh and i cant feel any diff. we drag race nose to nose consistently. he's pissed. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

Curtis Sparks in my opinion is the pipe to have. We installed a Sparks pipe at the track for the guy from Hendersonracing and he picked up 2/10th's just by swithching from the trinity stage four to the Sparks pipe with no jetting changes. He was very satisfied and didnt hesitate to buy the pipe. SLIM

 

i got a mojave and it has a wb e-series slip-on it added alot of bottom and quite a bit of top but with an e-series u can change the plates to add more power
