I put HPD exhaust on my 2000 and it made a noticable difference, lots more torque. The head pipe is twice the size of the stock one.

If price and looks mean any thing check out the Supertrapp IDS II very good price and the one I have on my 425 made a huge differance and looks great. On your 4 stroke you dont need to clutch for the pipe.You clutch it for YOUR needs unlike a 2 stroke that needs to operate in a power range of the pipe.
