Default 96 250 Compression
What’s “ normal” compression on a 96 Trail Boss 250? I’m running 120 psi, but a friend said that was only marginal.

In the Polaris service manual, the service limit is 115. You should be good for awhile but you are on the lower end of the acceptable amount for compression.
