Default After market fuel pump 05 Polaris 800 efi

I'm a little confused about the fuel pump #E8198 Airtex that people are saying will replace the original pump in a Polaris 800 efi. The specs on both pumps are totally different. The original has 25 litres per min and 39 psi.
The E8198 has 30 to 45 gpm and 70 to 80 psi. How can that pump be used with that much difference. Has someone actually used that pump with success.
Thank You

39 psi is correct,BUT need some other guys who have used after market pumps to help on this one as working at a dealership we stayed with OEM until Polaris started to trickle down to us only some info on what machines and what pumps would cross reference,THEN they started supplying pumps themselves instead of the whole fuel tank assembly, this was about the time I retired. not that i know bout polaris fuel injection,but,...the EFI should have a pressure regulator that would send any extra fuel back to tank,..way every injection system ive ever seen dose from 600 cat motors to lil 4 cylinder cars...so lol more flow an pressure shouldn't be a big issue...

Hi!bigcam400
I never thought about the pressure regulator. I think you are right if the regulator works properly it will regulate any of the extra pressure and volume.
Thank You very much. Will let you know Monday how it went.
