Welcome to the forum! This is the main fuse(circuit breaker) if its up by the battery. Its designed to switch off if there is a short or overload, plus can corrode even in the sealed pouch and short out.Depending on the model, there is another one or two under the front panel that are 10 amp fuses. You can slit the pouch and check that both terminal nuts are tight and the little square fuse isn't corroded. Just replace if it is and you can usually find these at most auto stores. It should have 20 marked on it for 20 amp rating on the one by the battery. OPT

you said there might be a short? it clicks every few seconds and the bag was a little hot even after the drive home. ill try the open and change the fuse tomorrow and post if it fixes it. ty for the quick reply

ok i changed it made no difference. the new one cut off an old harness. if its a short do i need to change the whole harness? what can make that switch keep clicking?! i hope its just a short

If you used an old circuit breaker you could have the same problem, either that or you have a short in the harness wiring that keeps tripping the breaker. You can always hook up up a plain inline 20 amp automotive fuse and see if it blows the fuse. If it does, then you will have to trace the wiring to find out what the problem is,either a direct short or bad ground, etc. OPT

I was hoping you could tell me what they figured out with your four wheeler because mine is doing the same thing? If I hook up the battery the circuit breaker underneath the seat keeps clicking. I was simply riding and hit a little bump and the four wheeler cut off.
