I jacked up the on the frame to allow the tires to hang- removed the tire and then removed the a-arms & shock and replaced all the bushings (using a small flat head screw driver to pry the old bushings out) - it was all pretty easy.
I guess it depends on which bushings you're looking to replace...
It's a lot easier to do the bushings when the a-arm is out.
Also- grease the bushings before you tighten the a-arm bolts. I found when I tried to grease the a-arms after I tightened the bolts, it didn't allow the grease to squeeze out the ends and created an air pocket in the bushing- preventing the grease from going in.
