Default new info

ok, i am still working on the bike, seems as the day goes on and the weather warms up it is getting closer to starting, i have checked the coils with a meter and all seem ok. i think that something may have gotten wet and now as it dries the spark is coming back.but not sure. still have not gotten it started.
will keep posted.

ok, i have replaced the exciting coil, ignition coil, and cdi. I have a spark but still will not start. Could a shorted starter stop the bike from firing? There is no pull starter on the bike so i have to use the starter, it sparked and hissed and now i have a good spark. I am not sure what else it could be. Any help would be great

Thanks.

Has the carb been cleaned? Plus have you checked compression? If less than 100 psi, could be part of the problem? OPT
