Default Rebuilding and cleaning a 250 trailboss carb

Can anyone help me? My carburator on my 92 trailboss needs a rebuild but I don't know where to start. Is there some video out there that can tell me how to do it in detail? Or some sort of manual? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Plenty of videos on You Tube on carb cleaning and rebuild that go into pretty good detail.

thankyou so much for your help. I greatly appreciate it. I do however have another question. Can I replace
My 250 carburetor with the 350 carb? The two carburetors look relatively similar. The reason I ask Is because I'm having nothing but problems with the original 250 carb.

Shouldn't be any problems that a carb rebuild kit couldn't solve on your 250 carb! The only thing a carb kit doesn't have is the float arm and pin that can wear also which a lot of people don't replace. OPT

Default air starvation????

how would a fourwheeler run, if it wasn't getting the right amount of air? Me and a friend of mine are trying to repair his four wheeler. it's missing terribly bad and we noticed that once we took the air filter off it idled alot better, but once we pushed the throttle in it was still missing, spitting and backfiring. I also noticed that there was condensation entering the air filter box. what would that mean?
we replaced the sparkplug cap, checked the throttle safety or whatever thats called. (the white wire) we disconnected it and it still ran badly. I'm relatively sure that there is no serious engine problems and i'm confident it might be the carburator. Can you offer any suggestions and help us out asap? we need it for deer hunting which starts this saturday and we're afraid we may not be able to repair it before then. also, he cannot afford to take it to a repair shop. Please help.

The carb could still be getting too much fuel because when you remove the filter you lean it out.Air/fuel setting is not that critical on these carbs! 1-2 turns out on the screw and it should run and idle ok if everything else is right with the machine! Another thing you can do is unplug the black wire from the reverse limiter module and see if it solves the problem. They can limit in forward, backfire, etc when they short out.Look here on the model you're working on and you can locate the limiter under "electrical" Browse Located under the headlight area on older models or under the front panel on the later models. If pulling the black wire doesn't help then you may still have carb problems, water in the fuel(moisture in the air box?)compression problems, etc. OPT
