Default Newbie 400 ho question?

I am looking at getting my first ATV. I have found a very good deal on a 2008 400ho. I understand that this is a mid size ATV. I am 6'1 and 230...will it be too small for me? I am really looking at it for trail riding and hunting. Thanks

Just my on this one. I'm 5'10" and I kinda felt a little big on this machine. At 6'1" you may even feel a little more cramped? It's basically a Hawkeye frame with he Polaris Fugi engine.Kinda of meant as an in between model on size and price. The clutch system is where you're limited also(has the Hawkeye system) as there isn't a whole lot of options on clutch kits, etc if you choose to do so. Again just my impression when they came out. Others may love em that are your size and build or even larger, but try sitting on both the Sportsman 500 versus the 400 and you'll probably see the difference. Plus no need to post in both the normal or expert section on the same question or problem! This does cause some confusion at times! Others will jump in and give you their opinions I'm sure on the 400! Better sit on it and feel it out . Power wise you will have no trouble same 455 motor in the newer Full size Sportsman 400H.O.
