I took the headlight cover off and looked under the speedometer. This is the picture.

I may be wrong, but looks like a cable is missing?

Kinda looks like it! Her's a better view of the cable(about $30) and transmission adapter and "key" Dirt Cheap Yamaha, Honda, Arctic Cat & Polaris OEM Parts & Accessories – Cycle Parts Warehouse
Could be why it shows low mileage! A lot of people did this on the early machines on purpose to keep from racking up n miles on the analog speedo.

Found the speedo Cable!!!! It fell through the headlight! I tried to tighten it all the way to the top, but it gets extremely tight and hard for me to turn it anymore. I tried to see if it would still work, but still does not show me speed.

Disconnect it from the speedo and follow it down to the adapter on the tranny and disconnect it there. Then see if the inner wire of the cable turns or if it's frozen. I had a lot of these cables come unconnected along with people deliberately disconnecting them. Check that the inside of the adapter turns also with the wheels off the ground. Both the cable and adapter key have to be good for the speedo to work.

The analog are a way better and simpler speedo, and best of all even if it quits you do not lose your AWD like the digital type.

Can you slide the cable out of the cable,s outer sleeve and clean and lube it and slide it back in? Might be some crud in there keeping the cable from spinning.

I just jacked the back up and tried to take the wire off the key, but it's EXTREMELY tight. Any suggestions?

Use a pair of pliers to loosen the cable on the adapter housing if this is what your talking about.
