Could the light to far right b a battery light...cuz my high beam light still works

 

Not if you have an Explorer 400. Doesn't have a battery indicator,just the hi beam,neutral,hot light bulb listed in the link I posted.

 

What was the lens cover that was on there??

 

Showed what the light meant! If it's on while in neutral,the headlight switch is off and it's not over heating it's the neutral light..

 

Its on when operating and when idling...headlight off..

 

In neutral..

Light stays on when plowing but when I rev up it dims when idling its bright

 

If it's on constantly and not just in neutral it could be just shorting out or it's the hot light. Especially if this old car battery isn't supplying voltage to the fan and it's not kicking on. Sounds like you need a manual if you don't have one.http://gh-ftp.com/ORV%20Manuals/Pola...e%20Manual.pdf
